Kinetacare was once known as Sport and Spine Physical Therapy until 2010.  Sport & Spine Physical Therapy, Brighton opened it's doors in the fall of 2005 with owners Edo Zylstra & Joanna Goldin.  Prior to the opening of S&S Brighton Edo Zylstra was working at a pain management clinic when he decided he wanted to serve his community by providing physical therapy that specialize in chronic pain, migraine relief and spine conditions.  That is what Edo was treating daily in the pain management clinic but felt he had so much more to offer.   Edo wanted to to offer the full potential of physical therapy services and so he approached Joanna Goldin, the owner of Sport & Spine Physical Therapy in Centennial as her clinics offered the type of outstanding care Edo respected.

It was easy to see Brighton desperately needed more options for care as the only physical therapy clinic was in the hospital and it wasn't a specialized outpatient clinic.  In September of 2005, the Brighton location opened it's doors making a total of 4 Sport & Spine locations. The clinic quickly grew and required expansion in 2009. Luckily the space next door was available and so Sport & Spine doubled it's space and added a teaching center.  Edo developed an educational course to train other physical therapists in a technique which he had been utilizing for years, but was and still is fairly new to the United States, called trigger point dry needling.  Edo developed a teaching company kinetacore in which he instructs approximately 30 physical therapists in the technique.  In January of 2010 Edo became the sole owner of Sport & Spine PT, Brighton and the name was changed to kinetacare which steams from the word kinetic meaning motion or movement, so kinetacare stands for movement care.  The clinic also added additional services including acupuncture, counseling specializing in chronic pain, personal training and fitness, yoga, massage therapy, and sports specific training.

Kinetacare is a unique clinic as we offer specialized services for all phases of injury; prevention, rehabilitation, recovery, maintenance, fitness and overall wellness.  Our mission is to always provide each and every patient with excellence in care, compassion from our staff, and results even for those that have been told there is nothing that can be done for them.  We will not quit, we will think out side of the box, and offer services that few other clinics offer.  Because of these core values our clinic has seen a great success because our patients are getting better faster.  Also, Thanks to our loyal patients bringing in family and friends and sharing their success with anyone that will listen, including their physicians, we continue to grow and offer hope to an increasing number of patients everyday.  We will continue to offer new and revolutionary treatments and provide every patient with excellent and compassionate care.
