Edo received his Masters of Science degree in Physical Therapy from Regis University in 2001. He became board certified as an Orthopedic Certified Specialist in 2009. Since beginning his practice, Edo has been focused on creating solutions for chronic musculoskeletal pain and developing his skills in manual therapy and trigger point dry needling.
While expanding his manual therapy skills, he became trained in the Travell and Simons and certified in C. Chan Gunn's Intramuscular Stimulation, a type of dry needling. He continues to develop his techniques and continues to advance his education in this type of treatment. He has developed and teaches an introductory and two advanced courses in intramuscular manual therapy, aka Trigger Point Dry Needling.
He has a special interest in orthopedics, spine and manipulative manual therapy and has extensive training in the treatment of head aches, neck injuries, sports injuries and acute and chronic pain.
Recently, he studied and completed testing to become Board Certified as an Orthopedic clinical specialist.
Personally, he has experience as a competitive tennis player, swimmer and cross country runner with a goal to develop sport specific training programs for local athletes in Brighton. In his free time Edo enjoys spending time with his wife and 3 children. He also enjoys reading, softball, volleyball,racket sports, golf and water sports.

In 2005, Edo met with the Department of Regulatory Agency's (DORA) advisory board and the Colorado Physical Therapy Association (CPTA) to present the validity and effectiveness of intramuscular stimulation (IMS) and Trigger Point Dry Needling, similar types of treatment for pain and dysfunction. After listening to the presentation and asking numerous questions, the boards decided that IMS/ Trigger Point Dry Needling is indeed within the physical therapist's scope of practice. This made Colorado the eighth state to accept dry needling as a treatment under the scope of PT practice.
The number of physical therapists practicing dry needling in the United States is increasing quickly. Therapists are finding success in treating stubborn conditions and patients are finding relief after years of failed treatment programs are demanding better access to Trigger Point Dry Needling.
KinetaCore regularly offers introductory and advanced training through out the year. Most courses are located in Denver but as demand increases and more states accept the practice of dry needling in their scope of practice, KinetaCore has now begun to offer courses through out the states.
